Refinitiv LPC’s Quarterly Lender Survey: Are you able to adequately engage with your clients/co-workers?
As more people are heading into the office, six percent of large corporate buyside and sellside lenders surveyed by Refinitiv LPC said that the quality of engagement is better now given that they can find ways to meet in person or at the office.
With a decrease in virtual working, when asked about the ability to engage virtually, one third of respondents said that they have meaningful interactions with clients and/or co-workers, down from 38% of respondents in the prior quarter. At that time, 55% said the quality of engagement was moderate.
That figure increased to 58% of respondents in the current survey. Only 6% of the lenders said the quality of engagement deteriorated and it was harder to reach people but that could also tie into the fact that meeting in person has become a viable option again.
