New-issue US CLO volume amounted to US$6.2bn in April via 14 deals, down from US$18.1bn raised from 38 deals during March. April totals represented the lowest monthly issuance since December 2023. Issuance was split between US$4.2bn of BSL CLOs and US$2bn of private debt CLOs. AAA discount margins for new‑issue BSL CLOs widened to their highest level since October 2025 in April, averaging 125.8bp, up from 120.9bp in March. Despite the widening, April AAA DMs remained 6.5bp lower than year‑ago levels.
